Metal Mahakala Mask

Mahakala is  is one of the most important protector of Dharma.

The mask is handcrafted by skilful artisans, with a lot of fine details. The five skulls decorating the crown are a symbol of the transmutation of the five “kleshas” (negative emotions) into the five wisdom.

Mahakala’s face is meant to frighten bad spirits away from the place he protects and to keep away negative energy, thoughts and actions.
